Large Open Concept Home that can comfortably sleep 20 guests. All bedrooms are generously sized with walk-in closets and lots of space for you and your guests to relax & unwind. The house has so much character! Some of my favorites are the outdoor gazebo which is a great place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee. From the centerpiece of the living room, the wall to wall brick fireplace, all the built-in's, and the woodwork throughout, the charm and comfort of this home is abundant. Upstairs in the spacious lodge room that comfortably sleeps 6, you’ll see where relaxation meets uniqueness. The Oasis bedroom is a stress free, luxurious space designed to have you feeling pampered & relaxed. Bring the kids & pile them in the large Nautical room which boasts 2 twin over full bunk beds, a queen air mattress, roll out twin bed, & 2 small fold out toddler cots! The large open concept living room has a pull out sleeper sofa that sleeps 2, a roll out single bed in the closet for 1, & a blow up queen air mattress. So much room!! The house is situated on a corner lot with a nice backyard & fire pit/grilling area where the whole family can gather and create memories. Jump on the 2 provided bicycles & enjoy a scenic stroll through the quaint Village of Bemus or opt for a short walk to the Lake for amazing sunsets. The downtown area is full of several dining/shopping options as well. Other destinations you won’t want to miss are the golf course one block away, the public park, the marina, & the downtown Ellicottville Brewing Company. The house is conveniently located just minutes from major highways for travel convenience. The historical village of Westfield, known for their vineyards and wine tours is just a short distance away. If you are in town for the Chautauqua Institution, you are only a 7 minute drive away. Enjoy a visit to Barcelona Beach on Lake Erie or jump on a charter for some of the best fishing around. Looking for entertainment? Head to Jamestown for the Lucille Ball Dezi Arnez Museum or the Comedy Club! Midway State Park is a great family friendly Park just 15 minutes away! Enjoy hiking and/or biking at one of the many parks & trails Chautauqua County has to offer or make memories on the ski slopes nearby! You are so close to so many local attractions..too many to list! Let our home be your home away from home during your vacation!

If VRBO doesn't send an access code by that morning, you should message Vanessa. I contacted with some questions before the trip and she was so helpful and friendly!
It was a great place for my family's fall weekend 2 couples and 2 more adult sons. Plenty of mugs, glassware, plates and silverware, which is not always the case. A few things I will mention for planning sake: The coffeemaker is super slow and there isn't an icemaker in the refrigerator, just two ice trays. There is a toaster oven but no slotted toaster. There is a sign that says do not use above the fireplace.
Otherwise, it was a great stay. The beds were nice. As for those questioning the number of people, it really depends on the dynamics. Couples or kids that can share a bed, sure. There is a list of beds, so take the guests and make your decisions. Lots of spaces for gathering, in the family room, kitchen and upstairs.
The large family room has another traditional couch instead of the futon shown in the pictures, which was so comfortable. The TV is small for the room, but was fine for the one movie we watched.
The patio table and 4 chairs in the back were nice, as was the table and two chairs in the adorable little gazebo at the front of the house. The overall footprint of the yard was like a city lot and the fire pit was great, but there wasn't a large space between houses, so we would have been worried about bothering the neighbors with an evening fire.
The appliances were clean, and functional, even though dated. The upstairs bath with shower is small, but functional. It is clean, nicely furnished, and comfortable.
