Enjoy a nice getaway in this charming cottage at Lake Tapps while taking in the view from Mount Rainier.
Enjoy the benefits of a lake front house and relax by the water or go paddleboarding or kayaking all day and then relax and gather around the fire pit in the evening.
This home is also only an hour away from Crystal Mountain, making it an ideal home base for your skiing trip! After a day in the slopes, come back and enjoy a nice hot sauna.
The entire home is available for your use. The main level has the living room, dining room, kitchen and a half-bathroom. The upstairs includes a bedroom, an open bedroom and a full bathroom. There are decks both upstairs and downstairs.
The house is right on the water with access to kayaks and paddle boards during the spring and summer. This property has a low bank, so the water by the dock is shallow.
A fire pit is available near the water by the dock, and you are welcome to use it but make sure the fire it put out when you are done.
Plenty of parking. You are welcome to park your RV or trailer on the property. There's a public boat launch on the north side of Lake Tapps.

BEST PLACE ON THE LAKE!! Rented this cottage for my birthday and 4th of July celebrations. It was absolutely perfect it's on the one side of the lake where it's very calm and still so you can paddle board and enjoy the calm Waters then you can go all the way out to the lake where the boats and whatnot are. The house was absolutely perfect had everything that we needed the backyard area was so peaceful and shaded. The stairs inside our little scary but you can also use the outside ones to get in. The house is air conditioned and kitchen equipped perfectly. The beds were comfortable the only thing I would say was missing is a barbecue grill. Would definitely stay here again

all was good, just would bring k-cups for Keurig. It said coffee maker, so we brought ground coffee beans.

Overall, ok. I would love to give a 5 star review however there were issues. Check in time was 4 pm. When we arrived there was a car out front so we thought we had the wrong address. We couldn’t check in until 5 because cleaners were still there. Owner was aware and didn’t offer anything for our inconvenience. We had been driving for 5 hrs. Yard is under construction which is not mentioned in ad. No clean towels anywhere. Finally found them wet and smelling like mold in washing machine. Cleaners obviously missed that detail. I would recommend finding new cleaners, mention condition of yard, and offer some type of reimbursement when agreed to terms were not met the owner.

This place needs a little love. It was awesome that we got to wake up every morning with bald eagles. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great.
