About this cottage rental
The medieval property of thick walls and arches is on three levels. The ground floor consists of a living room of aged travertine marble with a small, cozy fireplace, a dining area with French windows giving onto a balcony, a well equipped kitchen and a powder room.
The main bedroom is on the upper floor with a king size bed and a provençale bathroom with marble floors, a double sink countertop, provençale cabinets and a tiled Italian shower hut. There’s a small enclave used as an office with a printer, and single bed/sofa. A small window provides a distant view of the sea beyond the wooded hills.
The second bedroom is on the lower floor accessible by an exterior, stone staircase. It has marble floors, aged marbled bathroom and a kitchenette. The queen size bed is under a stone arch imbedded with miniature dimmable lighting. There’s also a bamboo couch that a child can sleep on.
The patio surrounded by bougainvillea is used for outside dining.
The property is 2 minutes walking distance from the shops on the Rue Carnot and 4-5 minutes from the 18th century Église Saint-Trophyme and the village square.

Con - Parking 10 min walk away, no local shop for basic groceries (bread, milk, etc.)

Had an amazing stay in Bormes Les Mimosas! Barry and Annie were there to meet us on arrival to their fabulous medieval cottage. The cottage was presented in immaculate condition with great instructions on how to use all the facilities. The cottage really is in the heart of the old village with many fantastic restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Parking is available a very short walk (3/4mins) away for overnight although you can park at the property to load and unload, it is permit parking for residents in the very centre of the village.
If you are looking for a calm and tranquil village stay I can highly recommend this magical cottage.

Village médiéval juste splendide et agréable, fais de ruelles et de venelles, avec une végétation somptueuse. Magnifique maison (en pierre et poutre) avec équipement complet (notamment la cuisine qui est splendide). Literie impécable. La deuxieme chambre est en fait un magnifique studio séparé sous une voute de pierre (avec salle de bain et petite cuisine). La terrasse à la végétation luxuriante se trouve dans une impasse (le passage des gens ne gène pas). Place de parking devant la maison. Wifi. Les propriétaires sont très très bien. Recommandé à 100%
