About this cottage rental

Close to the riverside, a golf course, and more, this family-friendly cottage brings it all within reach. With convenient onsite parking, you'll be ready to make the 20-minute drive to WWI Marine Memorial at Belleau Wood or the 27-minute drive to Château de Villers-Cotterêts.

Relax in the garden or sip a drink on the deck or patio of this 1615-sq-ft cottage, which also offers a BBQ grill. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and TV.

As you settle into this 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom rental, you'll find a living room and a desk. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, towels, and toilet paper. This Gite is one of our favorites and it was the second time we’ve stayed there. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. They provide more than you need for a comfortable vacation and true French experience. For all of you history buffs, it’s only one town over from Belleau a huge WWI site (battle of Belleau Bois). It’s so close to Paris however there’s no reason to go there since there’s so much to do in this region alone. You must have a car to enjoy but that’s true of the countryside. Thank you so much for our amazing stay.

Hautevesnes is a perfect location for your exploration of the best of French country. We were there for a wedding and were literally a few km from the venue. The hosts were very charming even though we had travel issues and showed up later than expected. It was the only apartment/house on ours trip where every room had its own bathroom and we loved the outdoor space. Having a car for this area is a must to visit Champagne, Disney, etc, I highly recommend this location for families.
