About this apartment rental
The Maroly is a nice little apartment which is located on the fifth floor of the Maroly building on the "Route du Chinaillon" in the Chinaillon village, area of the Grand Bornand resort.
At the foot of the building is the sports shop "Maroly sport " that hires and stores skis, as well as the "Green Monkey" pub which is a regular hot spot!
With a surface area of 50m² (75+m² if you count the parts under the eaves at less than 1.8m head height) it can sleep up 8 people!
As you walk into this apartment you have a small TV lounge which can also be used as an independent double bedroom thanks to its fold out sofa bed. You then have the kitchen that is fully equipped (oven, microwave, dishwasher and 2 fridges), and behind the kitchen you have a spacious storage area under the eaves.
There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and two singles, and the other with a double bed. There is also a mezzanine space up a few steps with a double bed & a selection of books which always tends to attract the kids!
The apartment has two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a proper bath and a combi washer & drying machine. The toilet is seperate.
In the middle of the appartment is the dining area and also a small lounge. In this living area there are large bay windows with sliding doors to give you access to the wide balcony where you have garden chairs and a [hidden] balcony is South facing and has beautiful views out over the slopes and surrounding mountains.
This apartment has a covered parking space that is situated 500m from the apartment as well as a ski locker located outside the building.
The rental rate includes the full provision of bedlinen and towels (sheets, bath towels, hand towels, bath mats, tea towels etc) and beds will be made up on your arrival! A light clean is also included at the end of your stay however we do expect the property to be left clear and tidy to avoid any surprises (beds stripped, rubbish removed, dishwasher emptied, bathrooms and kitchen left clears etc)!
