Thanks to the convenient onsite parking, you can either leave your vehicle behind and enjoy a short 5-minute walk to Elbe Sandstone Mountains, or easily tackle the quick 6-minute drive to Koenigstein Fortress. If you're looking to expand your horizons and see other nearby locales, you can catch a train at Königstein (Sächs Schweiz) Station, a short 9-minute walk away.

After you return to this 1722-sq-ft vacation home, unwind in the garden or sip a drink on the deck or patio, and don't forget about the outdoor furniture. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and cable/satellite TV.

As you settle into this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom rental, you'll find a living room, a dining area, a sofa bed, and a BBQ grill. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, towels, and toilet paper. The house has everything you need (except a washing machine). We enjoyed that it was so big, we had a kind of conservatory with a view as a 'dining room', we could connect our USB stick and our tablet to the TV via HDMI to watch our own films that were set in the places of our holiday. So even in bad weather you can stay here for a while. Fortunately we had 6 days of very nice weather. We saw everything we wanted to see. What helps is that everything is only about a 20 minute drive away. Behind the house is also a nice evening walk to a beautiful view and there is a path that takes you straight to the spa town of Gohrisch: a very pleasant walk. The Edeka in Königstein is also easy to reach, via a footpath along the Elbe. In 20 minutes by car we were at Bastei/Schwedisch Locker circular walk, at Schrammstein circular walk, at a gorge walk at Stadt Wehlen and at a very beautiful walk (again part of the Mahlerweg) at the 'balcony' near Hohnstein. And in the evening we relaxed in the big, clean, very practical house; some cooking, evening walk, reading and watching our movies.

Sehr netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter und den nebenan wohnenden Eltern. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Alles was man braucht um sich wohlzufühlen ist vorhanden. Super sind die zwei Badezimmer . Gerade wenn man mit mehreren Urlaub macht.

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Familienurlaub verlebt und daran hatte die Unterkunft erheblichen Anteil. Es handelt sich um eine vor kurzem sehr umfangreich modernisierte Doppelhaushälfte. Die Ausstattung war komplett; wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Urlaub in der Sächsischen Schweiz garantiert versuchen, diese Unterkunft erneut zu buchen.

Das Haus, die Lage und die Einrichtung gaben uns sehr gut gefallen. Es sind viele Wanderungen zu verschiedenen Tafelbergen, zur Festung Königstein oder an der Elbe entlang direkt von der Haustür aus möglich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen garantiert wieder.
