About this house rental
On the edge of Aghios Mattaios, one of the most beautiful villages on the island, lies the holiday home Erietas. In a gentle hillside location, quietly situated in a narrow cul-de-sac, the small house, renovated in 2020. The beautifully landscaped courtyard offers a private outdoor space. The terrace overlooks the wooded ridges of the Pantokrator. Via narrow paths, after a few hundred metres you are right in the middle of the village life of Aghios Mattaios with its tavernas, cafés and small shops.
The functionally furnished holiday home Erietas offers its guests the appropriate living comfort for a relaxing holiday for two. From the kitchen you have direct access to the inner courtyard, which invites you to dine in a private atmosphere in the evening. About 6 steps up from the spacious kitchen is the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a separate outside entrance from the narrow alley.
An extra bed for a child up to 10 years can be provided in the bedroom on request.
Between dense, old olive groves, along winding, wildly romantic paths, you can walk from Aghios Mattaios, to the nearby coasts and beaches of the island, to Paramonas, Skidi, Kanouli or Halikounas.

Rest - a car will be useful for this place. Effortless check-in despite the late evening hours. We had no problems with parking. The flat is 100% as described and photographed. Very good contact with the owner. Recommended

Good place to stay, a local village without tourists! You need a car, but good location to explore the south and southwest of the island, where you can find calm beaches.
The small house contains everything you need.
Sometimes it is a bit noisy because of neighbours and a lot of dogs.

Very nice house, full equipment, in a small town which is very beautiful and pleasant to walk at night ! The host help you during all your vacation, which I very appreciate. I recommend to have a car or a bike here to move to the beach !
