The size of the house was great, plenty of room for everyone. They could do with more double beds, maybe the zip and link so can turn into twins or doubles. Room sizes were good and plenty of bathrooms. Although no warm water all week.
Pool was good. Deep water throughout so better for older kids. There is a paddle court as advertised but you have to collect bags at the office in town and leave a €200 deposit! Absolutely crazy. Very annoying having it offered on the advert but not actually in real life.
Check in and out is annoying. You have to go to their office in town to pick up and drop off the keys. I’ve rented countless villas and have always had someone meet us at the villa.
Kitchen was ok. But not a chopping board in sight so we had to buy one. Good chest freezer.
No shade whatsoever from mid day which isn’t great. There was only an old, broken umbrella which you do put up. Asked the management company on the first day to replace but they didn’t even reply to our email. So again, had to go and buy an umbrella.
Calpe is beautiful. We loved it. Location was pretty good. But slightly too far to walk to anywhere with kids in the summer heat.
Overall good but has room for improvement.
