About this house rental
Beautiful vacation apartment in Fosse, about 3.5 km from Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo, in a typical house of the Lessinia region. The apartment is on two levels: on the first floor is a private garden and access to the apartment. At the entrance there is the living area, the bathroom and two bedrooms, where the typical materials of the region such as the famous stone of Lessinia have been maintained. By means of an internal wooden staircase you reach the 1st floor with another bedroom and a 2nd bathroom. In the same building also IVG343. Lessinia is a prealpine region which is mainly located in the province of Verona. Part of this area consists of the Regional Natural Park which extends on the plateau of Monte Lessini, behind Verona and on the border with the province of Trento on an area of more than 100 km2 of typical Alpine foothills with a biodiversity of animals, flowers / plants and mushrooms. In every corner of this area, in the typical districts, in the farms, in the villas, in the refuges, in the mills and churches, you can get an insight into the local folk art and discover the beauty of this area. Another strong point of this area is undoubtedly its typical products: such as cheese and dairy products, medicinal herbs, honey, fruit (chestnuts), liqueurs and spirits, meat products (cold cuts) and the famous black truffle. The Valpolicella region with its colors, its valleys and its wines, such as the red Valpolicella and the Amarone make this area even more interesting to visit. In addition, there are numerous museums, including the Museum of Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo. Sports enthusiasts will also find many opportunities here: In the winter months there is a ski station with several lifts at Malga San Giorgio (Bosco Chiesanuova). Malga San Giorgio is also a starting point of the famous Fondo Alta Lessinia center. Worth a visit is Molina, a medieval hamlet.
