Located in the beautiful medieval city of Lucca, Tuscany, the charming holiday apartment “La terrazza di Sofia” is ideal for travellers who wish to explore the local culture while enjoying a relaxing holiday. The property is in the heart of Lucca’s historic centre, within the old city walls and close to the Lucca Cathedral. The 80 m² apartment consists of a living/dining room, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and can accommodate up to 5 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi suitable for video calls, streaming services, a fan and a washing machine.
The apartment features a private outdoor area with an open terrace, furnished with a dining table, chairs and a sun umbrella. The apartment is very nice and nicely located in the charming old town of Lucca. The check in was very welcoming with lots of tips for the stay. The entrance of the apartment is at the top of few charming but steep stairs. The roof top terrace is a big plus, with nice city views.

Pros: The view from the terrace and accessibility to train station to see top sites in Tuscany.Enjoyed walking around the walls, wandering the streets of Lucca, park run, antique and flower markets and going to the opera. And of course the delicious food.
Cons: The beams were quite low and banged head several times. Could do with a handrail going up to the terrace.

Andrea and Alessia were wonderful hosts and provided us with a list of recommendations in town. The apartment is on a quiet street and was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean and had everything we needed. We absolutely loved Lucca and will be back!

Pros: Apartment is so close to the train station, only about a 6 minute walk so days out sightseeing and train transfers to and from airport were so easy. Bakery, restaurants and shops are all within a short walk. Roof terrace was a lovely feature.
Cons: The sofa bed was very hard and we had to try and pad it out with blankets as it was uneven with ridges.
