About this apartment rental
The apartment is located on a rocky promontory overlooking the largest watchtower on the Amalfi Coast, traditionally known as the Norman Tower.You can reach the apartment from the parking space along the coast road, climbing a staircase of about 50 lava stone steps from Vesuvius. Going up, the view of the coast gradually opens up to the left in one of the most panoramic points, which allows you to see the stretch from Maiori to Conca dei Marini.
The apartment is located on a rocky promontory overlooking the largest watchtower on the Amalfi Coast, traditionally known as the Norman Tower.
You can reach the apartment from the parking space along the coast road, climbing a staircase of about 50 lava stone steps from Vesuvius. Going up, the view of the coast gradually opens up to the left in one of the most panoramic points, which allows you to see the stretch from Maiori to Conca dei Marini. On the left the stone wall recalls the structure of the sixteenth century tower located lower, facing the sea.
Arriving at the entrance gate, and after passing the door, you enter a small vestibule. On the left the kitchen, equipped with dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge, small freezer and washing machine.
On the right there is the large living room, with a dining table for 4 people and a sofa that becomes a bed if necessary. The living room, with the characteristic wall of tiny stones, has two windows and a balcony, with a panoramic view of the Amalfi Coast.
The next room is the bedroom, with a large double bed, two traditional arched windows overlooking the sea, and a spacious wardrobe.
Finally, through a last door you enter the bathroom with shower, also here arched window with sea view.

First, I'll say that if you plan to stay here, you have to be at least moderately fit. There are almost 50 stairs to climb to the entrance, and there are no porters to carry your luggage. The reward is the unobstructed view of much of the Amalfi. The unit itself is large by any standard, plenty of room for two people, it's clean, and cute. When it's very hot, the AC might not cut it but we slept with the windows open, the offshore breeze is lovely. One of the best perks is a relationship with the restaurant across the road. Ristorante Torre Normanna sits on a small, rocky peninsula directly across from the apartment. Without a reservation, we were able to secure a table for an amazing culinary experience. The views alone make it worth it. When we return to Maiori, we'll definitely book this apartment again.

Internet is not very good spotty at best. Everything else is fantastic. Be sure to eat at the restaurant across the street and get to know the owner. You may get access to their private beach - Fantastic!
