Step into the Cart House and you will feel instantly at ease. The accommodation is more akin to a boutique hotel than your average self-catering cottage.. Think fluffy white bathrobes and towels, and your own 6-seater private hot tub with views of an endless sky. Think sumptuous sheep skin rugs under foot and sinking into super kingsize beds under the best quality Egyptian cotton sheets. Think deep bathtubs, powerful rain showers and the most luxurious interiors. But above all, think tranquil, re-energising serenity: a complete change of pace from the hectic working lives that most of us lead.
From the swivelling wood burner to the outdoor relaxation area; from the luxury soaps and body washes to the well-stocked kitchen cupboards, your hosts have thought of everything to make your stay as easy and as special as possible. The large arched windows will give you a hint as to the history of this gorgeous, converted building, an old cart shed which is located near the owners’ farmhouse.
Located a few miles from Duns in the Scottish Borders, this location serves as the ideal central point to explore this beautiful area. Just a 25-minute drive takes you to the seaside at Coldingham or Berwick Upon Tweed; 60 minutes and you can be in Edinburgh city centre.

A beautiful and welcoming barn conversion in a peaceful rural setting for a relaxing break away from the bustle of everyday life. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful with great local recommendations and tips to enhance the holiday.

The accommodation was spotless and decorated to a high spec and felt very welcoming. We were left a bottle of Prosecco which we enjoyed in the huge hot tup looking out onto fields.
We had a wonderful walk around Dunns exploring the area. The bedrooms and bathrooms were really comfortable and inviting, to be honest could not fault the place, a fantastic weekend away
