Owned by the same family for centuries, this well-preserved piece of a country residence still has a host of original furniture and architectural detail. After a raditional renovation to modern standards, this vacation rental has the incredible charme of the Italian Granny’s home and features the old traditional way of living in the tuscan countryside including a lovely small garden by the stream that brings fresh water from the hills. All of this in the medieval village of Vor-no, just 10 mins away from Lucca city centre. Rio delle Fate is literally a fairytale place and a rare find for those who are seeking a peaceful yet simple way of living in an en-chanted village close to shops and services.

We really enjoyed our stay at this private cottage. The garden was amazing. The House manager was really nice and helpful. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed really comfortable and the space perfect!

A wonderful, beautiful and quiet home exactly as described. Close to Lucca and Viareggio. Great walks in the countryside, including up to an observatory with views of Vorno and the land around. Highly recommended.

Ein wunderschön und mit viel Liebe renoviertes altes Haus idyllisch an einem Bachlauf gelegen. Sehr sauber, tolle Kommunikation inkl. Insidertipps für Lucca und Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
