Really lovely house and grounds in a beautiful location. Excellent views over the valley and to the mountains beyond. Sitting outside at sunset is worth the booking alone. House had everything we needed. Pool perfectly useable in October if you bring a wetsuit! Loved the wandering goats. Good grocery store in Villanueva. Good food at Hotel Fuente del Sol. El Torcal well worth a visit. Many thanks to the host. We will be back.

What a beautiful house! I would recommend anyone who loves Mountain Views and calm and peaceful area’s to book this house. The owners are really kind and they work really hard to make you have an excellent holiday. Laying in the hammock watching over the mountains is something you will not experience many times in your life. The pool was a bit cold during our stay (first two weeks of September) but also a welcoming cooling dive during hot weather.The house is well equipped and has comfortable sofa’s. We slept well in the king size bed in the main bedroom, where they also had a baby bed ready for our 6 months old baby with a very comfortable mattress. Attached to the main bedroom you also have a nice bathroom and a walk-in closet! The photo’s you see on VRBO are exactly as the house is in reality.There are some small shops for your daily needs nearby (within 15 minutes drive) for bigger needs you will have to go to Antequera (which is 30 minutes away from the house). And make sure you have a (rental) car that can handle the steep roads in the area. Thank you José and family for all your efforts to make our holiday very comfortable.

Great house with much space around. Very quite, no direkt neighbours. Jose is very helpful and caring even when it comes to topics not directly dealing with the house.The only minor thing is that in case someone is moving in the upper rooms, this can be heared in the rooms below. This should be considered especially, when traveling with kids.
