The owners have lovingly refurbished the property with guest comfort in mind, ensuring a home-away-from-home experience. From cosy slippers provided for every guest to a thoughtfully curated welcome hamper, every detail has been considered to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. You'll even find face masks in the family bathroom—perfect for unwinding in the luxurious double-ended bath after a day of exploring.
For those rainy days or relaxed evenings in, a selection of family games is tucked away beside the electric fire, creating the perfect setting for quality time together.

River View comfortably sleeps up to five guests across three well-appointed bedrooms: A double bedroom at the front of the property. A spacious single room at the rear. A versatile attic bedroom that can be arranged as either a twin or a double to suit your needs.The family bathroom on the first floor features a walk-in shower and a large inviting bath- ideal for a relaxing soak. There is also a convenient downstairs cloakroom.
The open-plan living and dining area offers plenty of space to unwind, whether you're gathering around the wood-burning stove for a cosy movie night or sitting down at the dining table for six to enjoy a home-cooked meal. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and fridge freezer, ensuring you have everything you need for a stress-free stay.

We felt very, very comfortable in this wonderful house. We were very kindly welcomed by Graham personally, so that no questions remained about practical things around the house. We further were equipped with a lot of very thoughtful personal recommendations for things to do in the area. The almost overflowing gift basket provided us with delicacies throughout the whole time! Overall, you could really see and feel that the house was decorated by a professional interior designer and invited you to feel extremely comfortable in every room. Shopping was possible right accross the street and public transportation to York available and excellent. There was even a morning running route starting right outside the house. To make a long story short - perfect location to explore York and its surroundings! Our biggest thank you to Graham and Jane.

A really awesome property, beautifully decorated and the extra touches that the owners go to with the welcome pack is just so lovely. Communication prior to our arrival was excellent, it was immaculately clean and was a great bolt hole for a weekend stay with friends for a wedding - wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we are ever in the area. The kitchen was superbly equipped too which was very refreshing! Can’t recommend this property enough.

Tbh the pictures don’t do it any justice whatsoever, the decor in this place was second to none.
Absolutely stunning.
Quite possibly the best air BnB we have ever used.
