Perfectly located to enjoy the beautiful countryside of the Lake District National Park with many cycling and walking trails.. 2 steps to entrance.

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
First Floor:
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet
Second Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: Single (3ft) Bed. Air source heat pump central heating (underfloor), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Highchair and stairgate. . Enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps in to the garden.. The Burrow has been beautifully restored to a good standard making your stay comfortable. It was once a thriving gunpowder works dating back to 1798 and part of Low Wood Mill gunpowder works. With the multi-fuel burner in the living area and the underfloor heating, you can be toasty warm on those cold winter evenings and in the summer you can sit out on the patio and enjoy views and access to the paddock. Beach 5 miles. Shop 6¾ miles, pub and restaurant 600 yards.

Spent a lovely weekend at the Burrow with good local walks and a good base for exploring the rest of the lake district, Overall the cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. A lovely get away exploring somewhere new.
