This lovely modern cottage is located at the end of a quiet cul de sac in the heart of the village of Wragby on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Next to a popular gastro pub with your own private gate in the garden for access too it, Eve’s Retreat provides an excellent touring base from which to explore this area of Lincolnshire. With the sandy beaches of the east coast about 30 minutes drive to the east with the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe always popular for a day at the seaside.
Market Rasen with its race course is about 15 minutes drive, as is the unspoilt Georgian market town of Louth, still with two busy market days a week. Horncastle is renowned for its antique shops and is only a short drive away. Inland 25 minutes away is the cathedral city of Lincoln, rich in history combined with independent boutique shopping, great arts and culture and many places to eat and drink while exploring. And after your days spent exploring or relaxing you can return to your cottage to relax with food and drink available through a private gate at the end of your garden. Nearest pub 100 yards, shop and takeaways 150 yards.

Friendly staff and great location. Could do with new kitchen equipment to include oven trays (would not use them). Stains on dining room ceiling as per previous comments. Internet is diabolical so difficult to watch tv and no DVD player. We really enjoyed visiting the pub and food was amazing, thank you. Could also do with a socket to include USB charging. Bed was so comfortable which is great and we loved the welcome pack. So thoughtful, thanks.

The cottage is clean and well equipped and being next to the Adam and Eve pub is great as it’s a really nice pub. There isn’t much happening in wragby itself but it’s a good base to explore other towns or the coast. Whilst we did enjoy your stay we felt it was missing a few extra touches to make it a true 4 star cottage, compared to others we have been in so I think it’s more 3 star which is why we didn’t rate it so high for value for money.

Lovely property right near to every thing you need for a little get away Almost in the centre of a little village that has 2 brilliant pubs one if which is literally at the bottom of the garden Great food on offer too we will definitely be going back to Eves Retreat it’s a little hidden gem
