'Tahuna' means seaside in Maori and this large home on multiple levels has breath-taking ocean and estuary views and it is a short stroll to the surf beach and Picnic Bay. With multiple living areas and bathrooms, and decks on 2 levels, it is ideal for families or mature couples! Tucked up on a driveway off Wintle St, it offers close proximity to all the action whilst providing a quiet Oasis to retire to. With kayaks available to use in the estuary, a playhouse, table tennis table and a hammock in a shaded spot to chill with a book, this property ticks so many boxes. Enjoy soaking up the rays on the large deck or sit inside and you will still be able to enjoy the magnificent views from the kitchen, dining room and living room.
This is the perfect house for a large family or even 2 families to enjoy their time away together, sharing the same house but with enough space to not feel crammed in!
Notes:
1. The bedding configuration is now slightly different to the photos as there is an extra single in one room and the Sofa bed has been replaced by a Queen bed.
2. Please note that the spa and garage are not available for guests.
3. There is a fully secured gun safe in the garage that cannot be opened without the access code
LINEN OPTIONS: To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.
BOOKING PAYMENT: Although Bookabach/VRBO take your credit card details, all booking payments are made to Bach Stay NZ Limited who manage this property for the owners. Once your booking is approved, we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges). Please note the amount stated as 'Deposit Paid at Property' on the Bookabach/VRBO quote is actually a refundable bond that will be collected as part of the accommodation payment, it is not collected at the property as the wording suggests.
