A Hot tub/ spa is also available for your enjoyment. Stroll the Shawnigan Village Rail Trail to Mason’s store or Mason’s beach. A 2 minute drive from Village on Shawnigan Lake Road right on Recreation Road takes you Old Mill Waterfront Park with a sandy beach and playground. West Shawnigan Lake Provincial Park is nearby and is a sanctuary for Douglas fir and also has lakeside beach access. A 5 minute drive to Kinsol Trestle for cyclists and hikers. Short drive to “Napa of the North” Cowichan Valley with 14 unique wineries making it a destination wine region. Visit the charming and picturesque seaside village of Cowichan Bay, rent kayaks at Mill Bay marina or jet skis on Shawnigan Lake.

Lovely garden suite with beautiful deck/ backyard access. Loved the fire table and hot tub. Owners werent home during our stay so it was very private. 5 min drive to the lake & town. Lots of little gems (hikes, shops, swim spots etc) around this area . Picture is from hike about 20 min away from house, with great views overlooking Shawnigan lake!

This beautiful gem is perfectly located at Shawnigan Lake, approximately 30 min from downtown Victoria. This property comes fully equipped with a kitchen, BBQ, king size bed, patio, and a hot tub. And of course, Ruby the Doodle is an extra addition to the full suite of amenities, offering security, taste testing, and companionship. We really enjoyed staying at this property and we would recommend this home away from home to anyone! Thank you Sylvain!!!
