It was just nice to be away and have a chunk of nature out back without any public to worry about. We had our Razor ATV (and dirt bike), and it was so nice to be able to let the teenagers just go (with safety rules we've established) and to figure out the trails, exploring safely on their own right out back. Its wonderful when people can actually take pride and nice things get used respectfully, and everything continues to work operably.
One day we had 7 baby birds (We guessed guinneas, and they were the neighbor's) come on over in the yards. They followed and hung out with us for a bit. We didn't let the dogs out in the big front fenced yard while they were over, but I bet it would've been fine. They would've left through the fence like they got in. So cute.
