In addition to Griffith Observatory, the Park hosts the Greek Theatre, the Samuel Oschin Planetarium, three City golf courses, Los Angeles Zoo, Autry National Center, Travel Town Museum, historic Merry-Go-Round, Griffith Park Southern Railroad, L.A. If you do rent a car, we have street parking in front of the house. Uber and Lyft (private taxi service app) are very cheap here and our home is central so it's a short ride away from most places. Public transportation is also less than two blocks away.

This is a unique property with plenty of space and lots of amenities. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. They even provided holiday decorations since we were staying over Christmas, which was a very nice touch. The rooms were large and bedrooms had good beds with high end bedding.
Kitchen was well equipped with appliances, etc. As a cook, I would have liked some updated cookware and sharper knives, but we were able to make everything we wanted to.
Street parking is a limitation, but generally we were able to find parking nearby. The property is upstairs and the street is quite hilly, so that might be a bit of a problem for older folks.
There are also a couple of pictures in the ad that are not of this particular property, but probably the one below us.
Overall this was a great space for our needs, and the hosts were very helpful, so I happily recommend it to others, especially families.
