About this house rental
Relax in a peaceful, comfortable lake house w/ all the joys of being feet away from the water! 2 queen beds, 1 Double, 1 queen sofa sleeper, 1 futon, 2 full bathrooms, & picture window views! Launch your boat at Snag Cove boat launch under a mile away & moor it on the shoreline in front of the cabin for easy access during your stay! 400 feet of shoreline to fish, swim, relax & play! The only property in the area w/ easy access to the water via a gentle grassy slope! Enjoy your coffee out on the peaceful deck & soak in nature!
The space
1800 square feet of living with a daylight basement, 4 bedrooms/sleeping areas (2 non-conforming), a Queen pull-out sofa sleeper in the living room, a full bathroom on each level, cultured stone and granite fireplaces in the living area and master bedroom, and large picture windows leading out to your wrap-around Trex deck for GORGEOUS views. Gated access for privacy along with plenty of parking space. Full kitchen, comfy furniture, and lots of privacy! Patio furniture and a gas BBQ grill are provided.
Guest access
Access through paved rural roads, gated access to the property with plenty of parking. The driveway gets a bit steep in the middle but not where you park. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter/spring or you can park at the top near the gate and take a short walk down to the house.
We are 25 minutes from Safeway/Starbucks/Wal-Mart located in Colville and 15 minutes from Kettle Falls. Several Wineries are also in the area offering excellent tastings and selections!
We are dog-friendly. Cats are not allowed due to owner family allergies.
We are EV-friendly and provide an extension cord for EV vehicles charging off of 110v for free. The closest EV chargers are located in Colville (22 miles). We have plans of installing a fast charger in the future and will update this info when it is complete.
Other things to note
Unfortunately, docks are not allowed on Lake Roosevelt by residents. Most of the LR shoreline is rocky, however, the section in front of our property has smaller river rock (see pictures) which makes it easy to access.
Due to the terrain and steps, we are not wheelchair-friendly. If you would like more pictures or have questions about access please reach out!
Verizon coverage is about 1 bar in the house via a cell phone booster. Not sure about other providers but will update and would appreciate feedback from those with other cell carriers on what their signal was!
We are now happy to provide Wifi delivered via Starlink Internet services!
We highly recommend "cancel for any reason" travel insurance. We strictly adhere to our cancellation policy set forth by VRBO. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to message us.
We have 2 security cameras. One is located looking at the driveway and one looking at the lake. These are not viewing areas of expected privacy and are for the security of the house since it is in a remote location and not always occupied. If you have concerns about this, please message me before booking.

Accommodations were comfortable and clean. Don’t discredit what hosts say about steep driveway. It is steep. We have family in the area so really only slept here. Would be a great place in the summer. Would stay here again.

This property is a fishing cabin. If you have any mobility issues this house is not for you. Extremely unsafe entry stairs made out of pavers that are unstable with no railing . Says you can ask to have security cameras turned off during stay but we were told no .no one wants to be watched by owners while on vacation. We left a day early because of it.
