Welcome to Fade Away! Our quiet and secluded cabin in the Smokies is the perfect spot for families to relax, reconnect, and recharge. Our guests love our location. We are 5 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and only 20 minutes from the excitement and almost endless attractions of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Fade Away guests also enjoy complimentary access to a local pool and private catch and release pond! At the end of the day, return home to your private hot tub on the deck… Book your stay with us today!
THE SPACE
We have created a warm and welcoming home for your family, the perfect spot to snuggle up with a blanket and a hot cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa as you hunker down with the book you've saved for vacation. We particularly love that the cabin has a quiet and remote feel, yet is still convenient to all the attractions this area is known for.
LIVING SPACES
From the moment you pull up, you will be delighted with Fade Away. The exterior will remind you of simpler times, with its log-cabin construction and generous front porch, the perfect vantage point from which to take in all the beautiful colors, sights, and sounds of nature. The picnic table and porch swing provides plenty of space for everyone.
As you open the front door, you'll be greeted by the dramatic rock fireplace, but it's the cozy, plush sofas and warm wood floors that will make you feel instantly at home. It's easy to picture yourself kicked back, with a fire roaring and a delicious beverage in hand, watching your favorite show or movie on the Roku TV.
The lower level of Fade Away is the game room, with a regulation-size pool table, and comfy sofa. Remember to go easy on each other...
COOKING & DINING
A delightful box bay window in the kitchen brings in abundant natural light. This well equipped space provides everything needed for a simple snack all the way to a full meal. The family chef is sure to love the stainless steel appliances, and stylish tiled counter and backsplash. An InstaPot makes meal planning and prep a breeze!
The wood dining table for 6 with matching padded chairs sits conveniently adjacent to the kitchen. Maybe you'll even be able to get the whole family together for a meal (without electronics!)
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
The primary bedroom suite on the main floor is spacious and inviting, with a bent wood rocking chair and king bed with wooden headboard. The "reading before bed" guests will appreciate the dual nightstands and lamps, while the late-night talk-show enthusiasts will enjoy the wall-mounted TV. The en-suite bath offers a tub/shower.
The first guest room upstairs also has a king size bed, with nightstand and lamp, and wall-mounted TV. The second guest room on the lower level, adjacent to the game room has a twin over double bunk, wall-mounted TV and assorted games. The second full bath, with tub/shower, is on the lower level.
OUTDOOR AMENITIES
The bubbling hot tub is the star of the show here! Situated to take full advantage of the lovely nature views, you'll want to make your soothing soak a nightly ritual! Both front and back decks with plenty of seating invite everyone to enjoy the peace and serenity of this mountain location. Throw some burgers and dogs on the gas grill for a family barbecue.

Due to our very tight cleaning schedule, we don't offer late check-outs. If you need additional time, please consider adding an additional night to your reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY & TRIP INSURANCE

We have partnered with RentalGuardian to give our guests easy access to travel insurance choices when they book with us. We do not sell travel insurance nor receive a commission; this is fully for the benefit of our guests.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - Fade Away is located on a paved, but windy mountain road. Our driveway is steep.
- Remember, we're in the mountains. You will certainly see bugs, and may even see some bears! Always be aware of your surroundings.
- While we do have wifi, it is not high speed and may be a bit spotty. Satellite TV is a more reliable source of TV entertainment.

We stayed at Fade Away so that we could use it as our landing spot while attending a family Thanksgiving in Maryville. We enjoyed our stay here so much that we wish we could have spent more time at the cabin! It more than met all our needs, great location, very private, very comfortable. Will definitely be back for a return visit.

The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable family trip to see the fall leaves. The location was close enough to attractions and communities while still feeling secluded. We especially enjoyed playing pool with our kids and then relaxing in the hottub.evening

no broom in cabin at all for sweeping leaves
cabin needs some updates - need new sheets and more dish towels
microwave needs repair
FIREPLACE was out of gas and feel like we should get some refund for that.
