About this house rental

Close to bourbon trail, hiking, fishing, with wonderful views of the Kentucky River and the foot of the Elkhorn Creek. House is over 100 years old with wonderful updates. Just 4 miles from West Sixth Brewery Farm and other great spots. Also only 37 miles to Ark Encounter.

Historic fish camp house nestled on the Kentucky River was a great stay for my wife and I as we explored the Bourbon Trail. Stayed for a week… quiet, secluded with views of the river yet only 10 minutes from Buffalo Trace. Check-in and check out was easy and all amenities as advertised. Great home if you’re lookin for an escape yet close enough to whatever you need.

Wonderful house to stay at and great amenities. They provided everything we needed, and it is in perfect location for some of the best distilleries.

Overall, we had a good stay. The house is nicely decorated but could have been cleaner. The photos in the listing show a lovely indoor fireplace but, upon arrival, we found a sign stating it is not for guest use. Bathrooms are very small. The property is located very close to a campground, which wasn't clear from the listing. The location worked very well as a central point for distilleries.
