About this house rental
Self-contained gîte in little hamlet, 2.5 km from Villié-Morgon at the heart of the famous Beaujolais vineyards (owners' home at the back). Lovely views (as far as the Mont Blanc in fine weather). Light & cosy interior, tastefully decorated. Upstairs (outside stairs, sheltered entrance) : large open plan living room (fitted kitchen/ lounge & dining areas). 2 bedrooms (140 cm double bed) (2single beds). Shower room. Separate WC. Small utility room with washing machine on the ground floor. Bed linen & utilities (electricity, heating) are included in rent. Outdoors : private enclosed garden with trees (grassy area), garden furniture, barbecue, paved area (parking available for 1 car). 200 m away : guests rooms & wine cellar of the son of the owners, tasting of the local wines can be arranged on demand.

Nicole and Jeanpierre have put a great deal of care into their apartment. They very kindly gave us a bottle of their own premier crus and a large jar of their own honey. Unfortunately we have virtually no French as they are the same in English, so discission was very difficult. Very nice people.

This was a very clean and well equipped property in a delightful rural area of the Beaujolais district. The owners were so warm and welcoming, even though they spoke French only and our French is very limited. It gave us a sense of real life in this part of the world, not a tourist version.
