About this castle / palace rental
This authentic castle was probably built at the end of the 16th century or at the beginning of the 17th century. The beautiful garden with a pond, the luxurious design and numerous facilities make this stay ideal for a dream holiday with a large group. In addition to the comfortable king-size beds with room for 18 adults, 4 people can sleep on a sofa bed, 2 on single beds in the dormitory and another 2 on pull-out beds from the same single beds. There are also 6 sleeping places for children in the bunk beds.
La Gentilhommière de Ferot is located north of Ferrières, near the village of Malaccord. You can enjoy cycling and walking in the beautiful surroundings and a visit to nearby places such as Durbuy and Aywaille is also possible.
The farm is located on the left of the castle. The courtyard is bordered by the house, a shed, stables and a chartil. The Gentihommière and the farm are supplied by the Vieux Pouhon, a tributary of the Lembée. A pond adorns the beautiful park in which you can relax.
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort, an dem sich dieses große Haus befindet. Schöner Garten neben der Terrasse. Küche und Wohnzimmer sind geräumig und gut für eine größere Gruppe geeignet. Sie nutzten keine kleineren Räume. Die Zimmer sind okay, sauber und ein gutes Bett. Die Badezimmer sind recht einfach und nicht alle mit den Zimmern verbunden. Bei meiner Ankunft erfuhr ich sofort, dass eine Spülmaschine nicht funktionierte. Bei einer großen Gruppe ist das natürlich nicht möglich. Wir fanden auch heraus, dass 1 Badezimmer nicht funktionierte, weil dort ein Stück Papier hing, das nicht benutzt werden konnte. Diese Mängel waren dem Eigentümer somit bereits bekannt. Das Haus ist auch nicht sauber und unordentlich mit vielen kaputten Gegenständen (ausgeknalltes Schrankfenster, gefährliche und kaputte Lampen). Gartenmöbel kaputt und schmutzig. Insgesamt macht das Haus keinen gepflegten Eindruck. Angesichts des von uns gezahlten Preises glauben wir nicht, dass dies im Verhältnis zur Qualität des Hauses steht. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit dem Besitzer im Vorfeld, habe niemanden vor Ort gesehen. Leider werden wir nicht an diesen Ort zurückkehren.
