Actually stayed in the adjoining property 'The Stables' as an upgrade on arrival due to the larger property being empty that week. Great location on the edge of the Loch and walking distance from the shops in Bunessan. Good base to explore the island from.

Shiela gave us a great welcome and met us with the keys. The Bothy is small but very well planned so includes a dishwasher and a washing machine. The bed wash comfortable and the kitchen was well equiped for making breakfast and diner. We stayed for three nights to explore the Ross of Mull and the bothy was a great location. The views across the bay were lovely.

The location was very quiet and quite remote.
There is no where to dry wet gear when the weather is bad.During our visit in late September the local pub and hotel were closed, definitely a summer holiday location.
