Courtyard by marriot is located not far from CDG airport,it is a convenient location,the room is clean and my stay were pleasant. The staff is friendly and nice.

Super thankful for the staff to have allowed my group to do an early than usual check in. They also did make us aware that this room was not what that was assigned to us, for my booking. It had what I requested for-twin sharing etc. Same level, but not just next to each other. I had seniors who wanted to rest through the noon while the rest of us wanted to do some last min shopping going back into the city. I agreed with the allocation. We were offered to use the luggage trolley. Quite a number of bags of 4 pax and with seniors. But were met with shocked that we got no assistance rendered to send them to our rooms at lvl 2. So I just did it on my own. After which the staff did ask if I was expecting assistance, told them erhm yeah like any other hotels? But it’s done since I’ve settled it. The room was in good condition with comfy sheets and many pillows, huge tv, kettle, clean and functional toilets. However 3 things which both rooms occupants face issues with during our stay. 1) something was awfully off with the temperature 2)fridge in both rooms. 3) shower head. We had to store some perishables in the fridge but the fridge’s function didn’t seem to be supporting it. My chocolates and butter melted, yogurt just sweat through sitting in the fridge. The air condition/heater would shoot up to at least 37 deg c. The weather outside just felt like a better option at this point. And the shower was supposed to have rain and whatever else functions but only dripped out water. It’s placement is also pretty much fixed so you can’t move it much other than adjusting its head. To support the flow of the water out. Still all we got was drops. Other traveller from my group reached out for assistance with the air condition/heater in their room too. Which was much warmer than mine. The staff tried their best but was also caught off guard to why it wasn’t working well. There were instructions by the side of the switch but it did actually seem to turn what was expected too. The staff tried to explain it may have something to do with winter/smart/centralised aircon, no. Of pax in the room and global green movement and sorts… Glad we didn’t have to face it for long as we had a super early morning check out for the flight back home anyways. And kept getting up every other house through the night so not much of a good rest either. It’s my first time staying here. But not at this location. Previous stays at other hotels in this location were good. Worth giving this a miss after my experience. And also my booking via agoda didn’t include taxes so that was collected for per room upon check out. I did reach out to agoda for clarity because I was charged a surcharge for this booking-assumed this was taxes and tariffs. But, agoda’s customer service was pretty much nonexistent. Worth to avoid consider this platform in the future too.
