A charming and spacious 3 floor apartment in a great central location. Owner was very accommodating to an earlier check in time. Close to a large Monoprix. Beautiful church views out windows. Nice, large bathroom. Steps from city center and Seine River. Highly recommend!

The location was first prize, in an ancient street among medieval houses and across the road from the medieval cathedral.
Milly, the host, in the vintage shop downstairs was very kind and friendly. The flat has old world charm.
The toilet was downstairs from the bedroom, so was tricky to use in the middle of the night and the door didn't close properly.
Communication with the host beforehand was difficult because of the language barrier, up until we reached the property we had no communication and didn't know if we would be met or not. As it turns out the shop downstairs was open and Milly had keys for us.

I appreciate that this property was artsy because of the eclectic decor, however some of the linens/towels seemed a little too dated.
There was no toilet paper at all, or paper towels in the kitchen. Not sure if this is a French thing. Also, some of the stored dishes/ utensils were dirty (had caked on food). I washed the dishes and utensils before we used them. It was difficult to contact the host for meeting to get into the property, he was not very responsive via email/ text. He was nice when we met him. We did not bother to ask him for toilet paper after we found out there was none, because we were going to the minimart anyway to buy groceries so we just bought a few rolls.
