The view from the house was absolutely stunning — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was warm, clean, and ready to enjoy, which made our evenings extra special. I really appreciated the thoughtful personal touches, like the local products provided in the fridge and bathroom — it made us feel truly welcome.
The price was a little on the steep side. The check-in and check-out times were also a bit inconvenient — quite late to arrive and early to leave. Additionally, the house is a little remote, so its a bit of a walk (the way through the fields is blocked).

The cottage was absolutely beautiful—tastefully decorated, very clean, and in a truly stunning location. The views were breathtaking, and overall it was a lovely place to stay.
A few things made the experience less seamless: the electric shower fluctuated frequently between hot and cold, the hot water pressure in the kitchen sink was very low, and the kitchen only had one soft overhead light, making it difficult to cook after dark. The mugs provided didn’t have handles and got so hot with coffee or tea that they were uncomfortable to hold. Lastly, locking and unlocking the doors required holding the handle up while turning the key—this wasn’t intuitive, and a quick note about it in the instructions would have been helpful.
Additionally, I had read a previous review mentioning breakfast food being provided, so I specifically reached out before my stay to ask what would be stocked, as I planned to shop beforehand. I was told only coffee and tea would be provided, so I bought eggs, bread, butter, and milk—only to find everything I had purchased was already stocked in the cottage with identical brand-new items. It felt frustrating, as I could have saved both time and money if I had known in advance.
We stayed in a variety of places during our trip—castles, hotels, and B&Bs over pubs—and this was by far the most expensive accommodation. Surprisingly, it also had the latest check-in time and the earliest check-out, with no flexibility on either end.

There were ants which we found strange at this time of year. They seemed to be coming up the kitchen sink. On the worktop / dishwasher/ cutlery drawer
One bedroom is very damp, and smells very stale because of this.
