Such a beautiful flat- really clean and well presented. It was obvious a lot of thought has gone into providing lovely bedding and kitchen resources etc. There are even some little slip on slippers- brand new- for people. It was comfortable and the outside space is very useful. We didn’t get the sunshine so much up there due to the time of year but it’ll be wonderful in good weather. Nice little touch to leave coffee and a welcome basket too. A very good Indian takeaway just a walk down the road and otherwise easy to walk into town and the beach.
Not a complaint at all. Be aware it’s a walk up a hill to get back. We discovered a couple of short cuts down by the church. I only mention this if you have older people with you. It’s certainly not impossible to do though!

Aggressive emails from the cleaner of the property who referred to holidaymakers as "disgusting". Make sure you are middle class if you stay here!

The location is great, a short walk from the town centre / beach and near a small convenience store. The flat itself is really good, it has everything you need for a family away from home. We travelled as 2 adults, my 9 year old daughter and we also took our dog, the small garden at the back was enclosed so perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped with really nice quality cookware / crockery / cutlery etc. The beds and bedding were really comfortable with nice quality linen. Lots of thoughtful small things that make life easier when being away - e.g. blankets / throws available if you wanted to sit outside. Board games & floor cushions etc.
When we arrived on the Friday for a weekend away, the lockbox to get the key out was a bit stiff and I couldn't open it but my partner managed fine. After unloading, we settled in for the evening, but couldn't get the TV to work. I messaged and rang the owner but no response. I had one or 2 text messages on the Saturday about it, essentially asking me to turn it off / on again. I eventually spoke to her husband on the Sat evening about 8pm, asking again to switch it on / off again. Essentially, a TV isn't a deal-breaker but it's incredibly annoying not to be able to speak to someone and to really be treated like someone who doesn't know how to operate a television. I'd be wary of coming here again in case something more important were to break / not work - which is a shame as the flat is lovely. A subsequent set of messages were exchanged about a possible refund of £40, but after 2 weeks it is yet to materialise.
