Very clean and perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay
Breakfast of continental selected and it was basic. Cooked breakfast looked good.

Staff were really helpful, especially with parking around market morning.
Room was quite cold on arrival. But okay after an hour or so once the radiator had been turned back on.

The location was ideal as we had booked for a meal at a local restaurant and wanted to be able to walk to it. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The room was decorated in an attractive and up to date style. Check in and check out were convenient and the information received prior to arrival accurate and helpful.
The breakfast was poor. There was a complimentary continental breakfast of fruit juice, porridge, cereal, yogurt and bread to make toast but there was no yogurt or porridge left when we got there and we weren't late. We had opted to pay extra for a cooked breakfast. We had bacon sandwiches and they were made from the cheapest, white sliced bread and 2 rashers of chewy bacon. Very disappointing. The coffee was instant and there was no choice of tea bags. On our 2nd morning we opted to have breakfast at the cafe next door which was lovely.
The room was noisy until pub closing time but we had expected that given that it was a room above a pub on a main Street.The shower was disappointing with very low water pressure. The lighting in the bedroom was so dim that it was impossible to read in the evening unless you had a lit kindle.
