Een zeer aangenaam ontvangst door een zeer vriendelijke en heel attente gastheer. De prachtige locatie in een rustig dorpje. De rust ter plaatse. De heel mooi onderhouden en grote woning met tal van faciliteiten. De woning zelf had heel veel te bieden. De ruimtes waren groot en ondanks de vriestemperaturen was het heerlijk warm.
Niets. We hadden een fantastisch verblijf.

The hosts were exceptional! The small town of Selkentrop is perfect for a hiking getaway. Very easy access to trails. Very, very friendly people in the town of Selkentrop and around. The facilities were super clean and had everything we needed to cook our own food, watch movies with a projector that we brought with us, and have a fantastic night's sleep. You can literally pick any direction you want when you go out of the front door and have a great hike. Even fog is super beautiful and atmospheric here! To sum it up: all six of us are seriously considering coming here again sometime later in the summer because of the location, hosts, and the great experience as a whole.
Nothing to do with the hosts themselves, but the public transport situation up there isn't very good. It's doable, sure, but it feels more like an afterthought rather than an actually well-established public transport system that you can take to get to the house (Schmallenberg is ok though!). Highly recommend you come there with a car as getting down to Schmallenberg for groceries is otherwise quite a pain; Selkentrop itself has no grocery stores.
