Clean great breakfast

Water was a little temperamental.

Room was cosy, clean and warm, bed very comfortable. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, my son enjoyed frying his own eggs just like he wanted them! Parking was provided and we were directed to a good restaurant within walking distance as the Hotel's dining room was closed for dinner. Great place to stay for one night before continuing our journey to Val d'Isere.

The location is quiet and our room was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the shower area in our room was brand new and clean.

The staff left as soon as we checked in, even though it was not a late check in. This meant there was no way of finding out the WiFi details, as there is no information in the room or the rest of the hotel. The telephone number is not answered. The bed was two singles pushed together so a gap if you are a couple sharing. The shower does not have a wall attachment so it was very hard to wash your hair with one hand. The shared toilet down the hall did not lock properly and was not regularly cleaned as the staff are not there. Overall more like an expensive hostel than a hotel.

We had 2 bedrooms, neither had a toilet so we had to share in the landing with other guests. I'm sure this fact was shown when we booked but it wasn't obvious. Noisy children running around the hotel who were in the room next to us. One of the rooms was very tired. Main light fitting had 3 lamps but only 1 bulb. There was 1 lamp at the side of the bed but no bulb. When we first went into the room the window was open, the curtain rail was on the floor and the painting above the bed had fallen off the wall and was on the bed. Shower room smelt awful which was as a result of the old, dirty shower curtain.
