Our fishing lake lodge number 19 was very clean & and the bed was comfortable. Everything you needed and finishing touches of homemade short bread & Halloween theme decorations.The lake view &hot tub location was excellent.We went to pub outside the resort & went a visit to the castle interesting.Would go back for the lodge hospitality, jacuzzi & lake view.
Never used the restaurant or pub entertainment as we would need to pay £80.00 up front for entry for Friday to Sunday per couple.As check out, it was 10 am. Monday morning.Very disappointed, as we have been to other resorts in Scotland & never have to pay to get into a restaurant or the pub entertainment.Can understand if wanting to go jet sking or peddle boats etc. Not our thing.
Staff were a bit rude at the reception desk on Friday 5pm when they found out we were private host.We were advised you can go to chippy over there & the shop.That is it.We did feel a bit awkward.
We never used any facilities as this was more money for fishing rods, a permit, etc. each.Although we had private decking to fish.

The property is clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there to enjoy our stay. The kitchen has all utensils needed which isn’t usually the case. They thought of everything.

I liked the lake with the surrounding landscape and jacuzzi with heated water no 1 !!!
I didn't like that the people from Booking charged me extra with almost 200£ because the owner says that the price would have increased that week, but I wasn't informed about this extra payment, they just told me that I have to still paid almost 200£, so I paid for a week around 1500£, with this money I could go to Spain or Greece and pay even less with a return flight!!!
