The host Pam Harrison was extremely welcoming and the kitchen facilities were excellent and the heating was responsive.
The car parking was excellent and the stay was within easy walking distance of the Coachman Pub whose food was superb also easy walk of train station.
The bathroom facilities were good for having a bath and using the washand basin but the shower was terrain it's water temperature and the toilet flush was difficult to use.

I liked the lounge and the property was warm and cosy. The owner was warm & welcoming. Pam wasn’t fazed when we asked for a different configuration of the bed. (To change from double to two singles).
The coach house is a little shabby and smelt musty. The quilts could have been warmer. They felt like light summer ones rather than winter ones. At least there were rugs that we could use, although the rugs could have been cleaner. The bathroom is a bit old fashioned but worked perfectly well. But a shame about the paint peeling off the shower cubicle ceiling and the towels weren’t generous and definitely threadbare. Just a little investment would make it more comfortable eg. Quilts, towels, extraction fan in the shower and decorating the ceiling. But happy to stay there again.
