The hotel is in a great location, and we really enjoyed the beautiful view from our room. We did have to switch rooms initially, as we were first given a ground-floor room which was noisier with less privacy, but the staff were very accommodating and handled the change smoothly.
Breakfast wasn’t included, which would have been a nice addition, but we did eat at the hotel twice and found the food to be delicious.
That said, the prices for food and drinks felt quite high, and the evening atmosphere didn’t really appeal to us—we often chose to go out to nearby restaurants instead. We were also a bit disappointed with the “BBQ night,” which turned out to be an expensive set menu only, rather than a grilled meat and seafood selection.

Casa Joseph was a fantastic experience and a serene luxurious escape from the lively zicatela. The staff were really attentive and helpful. The little touches didn’t go unnoticed and they were also great at making recommendations for restaurants and activities. Room was fantastic; a good size, gorgeous balcony and a comfy bed.
We would stay again without hesitation.
