This lodge is pure luxury! We loved our stay here, plenty of room and privacy. Very good location to go skiing every day and the jacuzzi was our favorite après-ski spot. Communication with the owners was super easy and we felt cared for. Highly recommend this — our family got plenty of new memories.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus in Finnland! Wir waren eine Gruppe von zehn Personen und das Haus war dafür einfach perfekt geeignet. Es ist hervorragend ausgestattet – besonders die Küche lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Tatsächlich bietet das Haus sogar mehr, als man normalerweise erwarten würde.
Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr komfortabel, mit eigenem Bad, und alles ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Ein absolutes Highlight war natürlich die tolle Sauna, die nach einem Tag draußen einfach perfekt ist.
Auch die Lage ist ideal: Die Pisten, Restaurants und das Zentrum von Ruka sind nur etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Man kann also alles bequem erreichen.
Wir waren rundum begeistert und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses Ferienhaus absolut weiterempfehlen!

Everything! Great place, cozy and modern with everything you may need. Very good communication with the host. You will love the place 100%. Very close to Ruka but still feeling like in the middle of a snowy forest.
Good point having CO detectors to add more security to the use of the fireplace!
Jacuzzi room is wonderful but cold for winter despite the fireplace, but there is a heat lamp which installation is in process which will help with that. Anyhow, so great being in the jacuzzi watching the snow and then taking the bathrobe to go to the sauna room!

Our first visit to Finland was absolutely wonderful, and our stay at Kelruka 15 in Ruka played a huge part in making it so memorable. We will be talking about the amazing experiences for a long time — from husky rides and snowboarding to our magical trip to Rovaniemi.
The house itself truly deserves five stars. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally well equipped with everything we could possibly need. After long days on the slopes, we loved coming back to the cosy fireplace and relaxing in the jacuzzi — it was the perfect way to unwind and warm up.
The beds were extremely comfortable, and we all slept very well. I personally really appreciated the code lock system, which meant we didn’t need to worry about carrying keys — such a convenient and modern touch. As well as the ski passes, fantastic offer.
One feature that stood out for us was the drying room. It was incredibly useful after skiing and outdoor activities, allowing us to dry wet clothes quickly and head back out comfortably. This is something you don’t find in all ski resorts, and it made a big difference to our stay.
The location is excellent — peaceful and scenic, yet close enough to the slopes and local amenities (walking distance). Overall, Kelruka 15 felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for guests.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Ruka. Henrikki and Nina were very kind and easily reachable.
We truly hope to return one day!
Thank you so much for everything — our stay was truly perfect. We really enjoyed the house and felt very comfortable throughout our visit. We have just posted our review and hope to have the chance to come back in the future. We left some snow kids equipment in the outside lock room (stiga snowrocket slide, Stiga snow kick and 2 plastic double slider for other children to enjoy). Thank you again for a wonderful experience.
