I usually stay at a well-known hotel when visiting my parents near Boston, but for this extended trip I needed a place suitable for remote work. Renting a full apartment turned out to be much better value for a similar price. The location is central yet still quiet, which made it ideal for both working and relaxing.
The stay met my expectations, so there’s not much to add. The only minor concern was parking, as there wasn’t a dedicated space in the courtyard. However, with a bit of initiative I was always able to find a spot without blocking others. There’s also street parking available and a car park opposite, although I didn’t end up needing it.

The property was alright. It was clean.
The beams in the bedrooms and there wasn’t a can opener. They could also do with putting hand towels in the bathroom

The location was excellent and the basic facilities all worked ok. The shower was good, beds comfortable and the kitchen was clean.
The apartment looked sparse and basic. The bedrooms and bathroom were restricted by large roof beams and both my friend and I are tall so we had to be careful. There were no "extras" at all so we had to buy washing up liquid, find a dishcloth and get basic foodstuffs like sugar, salt etc. plus soap for the washbasin. There was half a toilet roll provided and we supplied more. There were no egg cups, or a coffee cafetiere and the crockery range was limited. Small additions like this would have made a real difference and changed our perceptions considerably.
The ceiling window blind in one bedroom was broken and the TV remote control in one bedroom had dead batteries but everything else worked. We had limited time on our stay so didn't ask for these things to be corrected.
