It was easy to find and everything was ready for us to settle in quickly and enjoy the break. The property in immaculate and everything was thought of- the kitchen was fully loaded- there was tea, biscuits and milk for us on arrival.
The hot tub was amazing and the garden itself was great with two sitting areas a chiminea and the view was gorgeous.
The kitchen has an impressive extractor fan, a dishwasher. The microwave, kettle and toaster are set out. If you needed an air-fryer, blender, sandwich press or coffee maker- those can also be found in the kitchen cupboards along with complimentary cooking oils, spices and sauces.
The fireplace kept the whole house cosy and I loved the way the living space brought everyone together.
The bedrooms were comfortable with modern en-suite bathrooms in two and one double bedroom was next to the bathroom with the bathtub.
The duvet and pillows were high quality, clean and gave a luxury feel. There were plenty of towels and toiletries to make the stay feel like just home.
We had extra linen, towels and throws in the laundry room we found extra heaters step ladders and things for use with younger children like bathtubs etc as well as first aid and equipment for pets. (we didn’t need and didn’t use any of these but it’s good to see that everything was thought of and available for those that may need it).
They had a selection of books and board games and there was an iron, ironboard, drying stand to compliment the washing machine and dryer complete with laundry detergents.
Ian and Elizete are exceptional hosts, they were on hand to help if we needed anything and gave us space to enjoy our time at the barn. They couldn’t do enough to help us and Elizete was really helpful in guiding us to take the best route to enjoy the nearby lake and breathtaking views.
They have an electric car charging unit and it was helpful to not worry about finding a car charging.
