Very nice owner. I came late for the check-in and he was very accommodating.

Unsure, literally booked few hours before the check-in and left early enough... Might be nice to have a breakfast option (it is stated on the description that no breakfast will be served, so complaint but just a nice to have).

It was a lovely place with a beautiful back garden. Marian and Larry are very good hosters and nice people. They helped me solved some issues since I was traveling alone.

They don´t serve breakfast anymore but the room had a kettle, coffee and tea, so I solved it with cookies and fruit I brought.

A very handy location for an overnight in Dundalk. Just a short walk from the town centre and an even shorter one from the railway station. That said, a special mention for the owners whose kindness, welcome and hospitality were remarkable. On a miserable rainy night they kindly ran us to the evening’s restaurant of choice and on the morning of departure ran us to town for breakfast. Above and beyond and a delight to talk to.

The room was quite big (more long, I think it's 2 rooms made into one - with 3 single beds), cosy and nicely-decorated with an en-suite; check out is 11; tea/coffee-making facilities; heating. I arrived about 25 minutes before the official check-in time of 4pm and a friendly elderly man checked me in. He was very informative about the area and helpful.

I was very sad to see that the spoon on the tea tray was dirty - sticky with dried sugar and coffee on it - this does make you wonder about other things... Some channels on the TV kept going blank (black screen) when you changed channels, meaning you kept having to turn the TV on and off to get the picture - very weird and frustrating. The shower area is very tight. The location is about a 15-minute walk out of the centre of Dundalk in a quiet residential area. Unfortunately, there was a very big wall right outside my window - no garden view (as I thought I had read in the description), but in the hall right opposite the bedroom door, was the garden view. The heating (radiators) were on when I came in after a long walk in the evening, but it's a pity they didn't come on later when it was colder - would be nice if guests could control the heating in their room.
