Where do I begin? This was the best stay I had in my month in Indonesia. This is a family home. The husband Kapri and wife Ayu. Upon arrival they gave me a delicious lime drink. I was able to sit with Ayu for 2 hours and talk about Bali, it's culture and way of life. The room was perfection. Very clean. The bed was comfortable. The lighting from the lamps on the nightstand was beautiful at night. The bathroom was huge and also very clean. I felt so incredibly comfortable staying here as a solo female traveler. And not just because of the cleanliness of the room and bathroom but because of the family. They were so incredibly kind and caring. They always gave me tips on things to do and even invited me to the market in the morning. It wasn't just 'stay in our rooms' it was, 'Let me introduce you to Ubud and how we live here'. I seriously miss Kapri and Ayu. They are the kindest people ever. You would be in great hands if you choose to stay here. I can not wait to come back and stay a month because 5 days here doesn't even scratch the surface.
The best place I have stayed in all of my travels and this is my 31st country.

Everything was perfect ! It’s super clean, huge room, huge bathroom. Place is comfortable and the owner is super friendly. They made sure that you have everything during your stay. They also let me use the kitchen to prepare my foods. ☺️

We absolutely loved our stay at Kapri Balinese House. Ayu and Kapri were incredibly welcoming, kind, and always available whenever we needed anything. Staying with them felt truly authentic. We were living in a traditional Balinese home alongside their family, which made the experience very special.
The homemade breakfasts served on the patio were delicious, and we really appreciated all the local insights and cultural knowledge that Kapri shared with us. It was a wonderful way to experience Balinese life, and we would happily stay here again.

So the Kapri house is an authentic Balinese house with newly built guest houses. The place is run by a family who owns it. They keep the place very clean and do the best for their guests. Simply a great stay just a few kms away from Ubud market.
