The price, location and able to park a car albeit a bit tight….. close to bus stop and supermarket…..the sink area neat and modern, shower and water heating excellent. Not having to pay extra for electricity. Plenty of electric sockets.
The wooden steps, very slippery when wet, a handrail would be useful. the cooking facilities minimal (a small microwave would have been appreciated) We felt a bit exposed with the window blinds not well fitted. The mattress and sheets felt a bit grubby. The kettle rusty inside, the water had a strange taste. Not sure if there was any fire extinguishers…….?

We stayed at Stargazy for the first time with our dachshund puppy … we literally cannot fault our stay! Everything was very carefully thought about meaning we had absolutely everything we needed! We will be back!

It was exceptionally clean. The location is very good - easy walks (or bus) into St Ives or short walk down to the bay. The directions were clear.
It was not private with a lane running within feet of the hut and only a lattice as a "fence". With the adjoining houses we felt that we were in a bit of a goldfish bowl. We have a fairly large car and parking it was not easy down the narrow lane next to the hut.
