The property was lovely. Well equipped, light, very clean, modern and well presented. Good wifi (<>20mb) throughout the house. The single beds were lovely and comfy. Kitchen had everything you could ask for, except a cafetiere. The Nespresso machine was a nice alternative but we had to go to the local coop (15 min walk away) to buy pods for it. We didn't use the outside space so can't comment on that. The property is also incredibly warm - underfloor heating downstairs and radiators in every room make it lovely and cosy. An excellent base for exploring the area - whether immediately around Dolgellau and the river, or further afield with good access by road.
The double mattress in the main bedroom was too soft for us. The main bedroom has second window which had no blinds on, so daylight pours in as soon as the sun is up (fine for early risers but we aren't...), and you're overlooked by a large house further up the hill. Others have mentioned the boiler is quite noisy but it didn't really bother us and it obviously works well. We found we couldn't adjust the shower temperature so if you like it hot then great, but that seems to be its only setting! Finding a decent parking space for a large family vehicle near to the property was difficult - but not impossible - at the weekend.

Lovely, modern property in a great location for Dolgellau, Fairbourne or Barmouth (both 20 mins away).
Boiler is quite noisy and might keep you up at night if you’re sensitive to noise at night.

Great area clean and tidy property
Microwave didn’t work and was reported but no reply, shower is also faulty not possible to make colder
So couldn’t use it.

Ideal location for walking/visiting the nearby coast. Comfortable cosy and generally well-equipped cottage.
I'm being really picky now , since you asked! A larger duvet on the double bed and preferably a king sized bed too. A set of kitchen scales in the otherwise well-equipped kitchen. A clothes line outside - we ended up using more heating than we would ordinarily because there was nowhere to efficiently dry clothes.
BTW - we fixed the dining room chairs; one had a missing screw which made it unsafe, and the others all had loose screws - a known issue with this type of chair. The fixer is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers but the design of these chairs means they should be checked regularly as they will work loose again.
