The location was perfect. Breakfast was delicious , the restaurant food was also delicious. The staff were very very friendly. We left early on our check out day and they made us food to take away which was very kind of them. We really loved our stay there and would happily come again. Thank you very much, Fiona and John.

Had the whole apartment to myself. Well equipped and stunning view of the lake.
Very steep hill to car park which is not great on a motorbike. Arrived at 8:30pm and restaurant kitchen had stopped serving so had to go to local petrol station for something to eat.
I definitely should have read the reviews etc.so my fault for not doing that. I also struggled to lock the door from the inside and was unable to make it clear what the issue was as I cannot speak much German and likewise neither could the owner - although Booking.com state that English is spoken as well as German. When you are travelling alone as a single female it is important that you can lock the door behind you when you go to bed. Mohnesee is a very safe place but it is still frustrating that I spent an evening worrying about an unlocked door.
