Gleann Loic Farmhouse

Most beautiful accommodation on Dingle Way! Simple perfection. Clean and cozy with great views from large windows. Patrigh was an excellent host offering assistance with transportation and big smiles. Our favorite stay!

We had a car so the fact that it was a rural location was not an issue, it actually enhanced the experience. Padrik set up an ample breakfast. There were 2 other couples walking the Dingle way so had a chance to share stories with them. It was interesting to hear what farming is like in Ireland. And we were presented with a bottle of champagne for our anniversary - and it was very nice!!

It was a good location. The host was friendly and the room was clean. The continental breakfast was a nice treat.

The walls were paper thin. My travel companion was in the room next to me and even with the doors closed I could hear her phone calls and her snoring during the night. It is an old farmhouse and has lots of lovely charm, but that also means you heard everyone get up in the middle of the night as the skeleton keys turned in their lock and the floors creaked as they walked to the bathroom at 3 am. Speaking of the bathroom. The water pressure is very low and both my travel companion, and I had trouble getting #2 to flush, which is a little uncomfortable when it’s a shared bathroom. Nobody wants to leave their mess for others.

The location was excellent with a view to die for, the breakfast was delicious and had great variety, it was perfectly cozy and had such a lovely, warm atmosphere (especially in the shared space with the couch and chairs), and our host was so kind and thoughtful in every way.

I wish we had stayed much longer.
