A modern hotel with excellent location close to O'Hare airport, breakfast OK not exceptional

The hotel was quite nice and very clean. Minimalistic vibe. Decent breakfast.
***Warning*** There is no hotel shuttle! Websites indicate otherwise and reviews praise the hotel for having a shuttle service. Shuttle service ended a year ago according to the person at the reception desk. A taxi to and from ORD is about $25 each way. This unexpected cost turned the hotel from a good value to a poor one.
The person at reception was also quite nosey (imo). Where are you going? Why are you going there? Not really her concern and I would have told her so but, "mind your own business" seemed rude.
