This place is great! The Scottish / English couple that runs it are super friendly and helpful. The room is excellent with a on-suite bathroom. The garden area is very nice. Had our morning coffee out there and evening wine as well. Nice stroll to the Chateau de Chinon and many restaurants. This is a gem!
Parking, like everywhere in France it is a pain to find a place for the night. Luckily, the owners sent us a map of where we can park for free. Again, they are super helpful.

My partner and I stayed at Les Destinees for 2 nights during our visit to Chinon. Bryce and Rebecca were the most fantastic hosts - we received a very warm welcome when we arrived, they were on hand for tips about the town, and cared about making our stay comfortable and easy. We really loved the room we stayed in - it's spacious and has a private feel to it. The house and garden were also beautiful, and conveniently right near the fortress. The breakfast was delicious - we enjoyed a range of locally sourced produce; cheeses, bread, cured meats, pastries, granola, museli, yoghurt were all offered! Thank you for our relaxing stay in Chinon :)

Very friendly hosts Bryce and Rebecca made our stay never forget. We were welcomed in a stylish french manor house. The interior design of the house was tasteful to the smallest details.
The breakfast served was more than complete.
The house is in the old town. You can park in front of the house. And you are in the medieval street when you leave the backyard’s gate.
