Appartamento pulito, luminoso, spazioso e ben fornito di tutto, e tutto funzionante
Poca privacy nel giardino comune, anche se eravamo da soli, impossibile usufruire del giardino per la presenza di troppe zanzare.
Letto matrimoniale piccolo e materasso scomodo perché troppo sottile.
Non mi è piaciuto per niente l'intervento a gamba tesa di Booking.com, l'ultimo giorno di soggiorno, perché ha preteso il pagamento della differenza della tassa di soggiorno, da quanto spiegato da Booking.com la richiesta sarebbe stata fatta dall'host, l'host invece ha addebitato la richiesta a Booking.com, ma una richiesta di questo genere fatta l'ultimo giorno del soggiorno, da chiunque si partita l'iniziativa è estremamente scorretta, perché andava fatta all'inizio e non alla fine del soggiorno stesso

Lovely apartment (true to description & photos), meticulously clean, spacious, nicely decorated & well furnished. Bed comfortable, shower powerful with plentiful hot water, air-con in both rooms, well equipped throughout (especially kitchen - washing machine, full cooker, microwave oven, full fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, grilling machine, all types of pots & pans, crockery, cutlery & utensils). Shared outside terrace, although not entirely private, is well laid out & spaced for the three apartments. Lots of spare bed linen, pillows, towels & toilet paper. Multiple little touches that made the difference (bottles of wine & water on arrival, mini bathroom cosmetics, hairdryer, first aid kit, liquid mosquito plugins, spare batteries, washing up liquid, padded cushions for outside benches). Although we did not hire a car, there seemed to be adequate parking ability close to the apartment. Quiet location, with minimal passing traffic, but only a 10 minute walk to the beach, tavernas & shops (location on Booking.com is inaccurate, in reality they are next door to the Panmar Apartments above the port). Geanna, our local host & cleaner, looked after us very well and was informative & friendly (speaking perfect English) and collected us & dropped us off, by car, at the bus stop to save us the short walk with our luggage. Makry Gialos is an ideal location for a restful holiday - organised or wild beach, approx 10 - 12 beachside tavernas (all good & reasonably priced), several bars & souvenir shops, a couple of gelaterias, car hire companies & ATM’s, multiple mini-markets, a fabulous butcher & patisserie, a post-office, hairdresser, medical centre, dentist & petrol station – no real requirement to travel anywhere else for amenities, plus a reasonable daytime bus service to Ierapetra.
