RR 1324 Guadalupe River Retreat
4/2.5 home. Sleeps 16. Master: Queen. 2nd bedroom: 2 Twin over Full bunks. 3rd bedroom: Queen. 4th bedroom: 2 Full. Living room: sofa sleeper. 2 dogs max allowed, $25 per day per dog. MUST BE 25 TO RENT. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented at check in or via email. In addition, the electronic rental agreement must be signed prior to check-in.

Fairy-tale like Backyard in this beautiful 4 Bedroom 2.5 Bath cozy home with 65 feet of Guadalupe Riverfront! This home offers the perfect river feel, with a sun porch to enjoy the view all year round. Conveniently located at the 4th crossing of River Road within minutes of shopping, this beauty offers the perfect weekend getaway. There is even a Foosball table! The huge backyard brings lots of room for the entire family & friends to enjoy hot summer days while being in the shade of beautiful Pecan trees! Concrete pad at the waters edge with ample seating, propane grill, and direct river access. Tube rental company right across the street. This house sleeps 16 guests. There is a small fenced in area for small dogs. This home allows 2 dogs under 40 lbs. $25 per day per dog. Dogs must be on leash when outside of the fenced in area. Due to the flood in 2021 the Paddle boat seen in photos is not available as it got swept away. The new owner is adding 2 kayaks, Oct 7th! Pictures soon to come!
Enter through the garage into the living room with a Smart TV, free internet, 2 recliners, a rocking chair. The dining table seats 6 and there are 2 bar stools at the breakfast bar. Fully equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home. There is a half bath downstairs. One bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, with river view and a private bathroom. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms with a guest bath conveniently located to guest rooms. The first bedroom has 2 twin over full size bunk beds, second bedroom with a queen bed and river view and 3rd bedroom with 2 full beds and a river view. All TVs are Smart TVs. There is a sofa sleeper in the living room.
Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. This home has a maximum occupancy of 16 guests. This home has room for 4-5 vehicles no campers, RV's or trailers allowed. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed.
To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.
The house is conveniently located only 2 miles from Whitewater Amphitheater, 17 miles from downtown New Braunfels, historic Gruene and Schlitterbahn water park. Shopping is just 19 miles away at the outlet Malls of San Marcos. Nearby attractions in San Antonio include the Alamo, Fiesta Texas, and the famous San Antonio River Walk, 46 miles away. You are also 54 miles from the state capital of Austin, and all it has to offer. In New Braunfels, you will never run out of things to do!

Overall a great place to stay. The house was RIGHT on the road so believe them when they say there is no extra parking and be watchful of your little kids. One wrong step and they are in the road. The house was very clean, however the kitchen cabinets were missing some knobs and the house was older than most. The furniture was in great condition. A cold front came three while we were there and heater seemed to only heat the master bedroom while the rest of the house was freezing. There was direct river access and the area to sit down by the river was nice. Again, it was super clean and that’s the main thing I’m looking for in a rental.

The house was just perfect! We have been having our annual getaway for 6 years, and this was the best house we have stayed at! Plenty of room for 13 women and their belongings! Lots of kitchen items for cooking! Great river access that allowed us to just sit in chairs in the water the whole time! Definitely will be booking this house again next year!

The location is AMAZING! If you are looking for a place to arrive to & keep your vehicle parked the whole time, THIS is the one!
Access to the river is right down the hill in the back yard as shown & described. It’s perfect to put your chairs in with good rocks for plenty of chairs to sit on. We had at least 8 of us in chairs, spread out down there. The hill back up is a doozy, unless you’re in shape LOL.
The tube rental place is a short 1 min walk. Rio provides the black, old school tubes. With or without bottoms. They will cut out bottoms if you don’t want one so be sure to just ask.
Driveway seems super sketchy right when you get there, but we had no issues & didn’t feel that River Road traffic was an issue at all. However, we were there for a good time & likely didn’t pay attention.
Would def recommend & stay again.

We had a reunion of friends coming in from as far as California. We took some camping chairs out to the water and put our Yeti on a pile of rocks conveniently situated near where we sat in the water. We did some fishing but just caught one tiny smallmouth. Cooked food and had a great weekend. The house seemed a bit tuckered after all the summer rentals but we would definitely rent again.
